This Strawberry Peanut Butter Chia Smoothie is the perfect way to get all the benefits of chia seeds in a refreshing, drinkable treat.

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl or jar, combine the milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and almond extract. Whisk until smooth and well blended.

  1. Add the chia seeds and whisk until they are evenly distributed. 

  1. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight, until the pudding has thickened to your desired consistency. 

  1. Add the chia pudding base to the blender along with the strawberries, peanut butter, greek yogurt, milk, and ice. Blend until it's smooth and add milk if needed for the desired consistency. 

  1. Enjoy!

Note

While doing this series, I made the chia pudding base each night and then blended it in the morning to the recipe I chose. You are welcome to simply blend everything together without letting the chia pudding base thicken for a few hours in the fridge but I loved how much thicker it made the smoothie when letting the chia seeds bubble up overnight. It's up to you! Regardless, enjoy this delicious treat and get creative with this fiber packed smoothie!
